RAYMOND REGULATORY RESOURCES

Doug Raymond has been the regulatory advocate for the NAA for over two decades.  His expertise lies within his in-depth knowledge of agency rules and his relationship with numerous government agencies.  Doug and NAA have been instrumental in dealing with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) on Consumer Products VOC regulations.  As well as other regulations throughout the country and soon to be in Canada.  NAA took a pivotal role in the Transition Rule at EPA to extend the use of HFC’s in Aerosols.

NAA is ready and willing to work with any agency on the preservation of the aerosol form.

MADDEN QUINONEZ ADVOCACY

Nicole Quiñonez, partner at Madden Quiñonez Advocacy, serves as our legislative advocate in California. She represents the industry on a wide range of issues, including air quality, ingredient restrictions and bans, labeling, and packaging requirements. As the Legislature considers policies to improve management of household hazardous waste and recycling of consumer product packaging, Nicole is actively working to ensure aerosol containers remain protected. In the regulatory space, Nicole works closely with the California Air Resources Board (CARB) on matters impacting the industry, and leads efforts related to the Safer Consumer Products Program, Prop. 65 and pesticide regulations.
